Can you dance here?
Probably not. This is mostly a show to listen to.
Why we think so
- It is a movie theater with rows of seats and no dance floor. Some concert ads here mention dancing, but any dancing would be at or near your seat.
- A concert-style tribute in a small theater. The band says it keeps audiences on their feet, and Santana's Latin rhythms invite some dancing, but it is mainly a show.
- It is a concert in a theater with seats.
How we checked (5 sources)
- bellmoremovie.com (opens in a new tab): Oct 3, 8 PM at The Showplace, Bellmore: billed as a concert experience with Latin percussion and guitarist Nick Sassano.
- yelp.com (opens in a new tab): Reviews call it a cozy, old-fashioned single-screen movie theater.
- events.longisland.com (opens in a new tab): Listing for a different tribute show here promises sing-alongs and dancing, so some crowds get up during concerts.
- nicksassano.com (opens in a new tab): Press kit: playing the NY metro area since 2021; says the show keeps audiences on their feet.
- longislandpress.com (opens in a new tab): News story on an outdoor park concert in Syosset.
The score is our best guess from the venue, the band and the listing. Crowds, space and rules can change, so ask the venue if dancing matters to you. How the score works.
