Can you dance here?
Probably not. This is mostly a show to listen to.
Why we think so
- There is standing room in front of the raised stage that reviewers describe as a dance floor, and fans dance to the cover bands. Tables must be reserved and cost extra.
- A Nirvana tribute is a rock concert where fans watch, sing and sometimes mosh. This weekend's show is billed as Unplugged (acoustic), so expect a listening crowd.
- A grunge tribute. The Oct 3 Warehouse show is an acoustic 'unplugged' night meant for close listening, not dancing.
How we checked (6 sources)
- mindtrip.ai (opens in a new tab): Review summary: large bar, elevated stage with good sound, and a dance floor.
- thewarehouseli.com (opens in a new tab): Official site: up to 300 guests with 150+ seats on three raised tiers; a quoted review mentions plenty of standing room.
- usarestaurants.info (opens in a new tab): Visitor review says a band played songs you could dance to.
- servetheservantstribute.com (opens in a new tab): Band site: Long Island Nirvana tribute aiming to copy the Nirvana live show.
- allevents.in (opens in a new tab): Oct 3 at The Warehouse, Amityville: an unplugged night with Serve The Servants, Love Hate Love and Unglued.
- happeningnext.com (opens in a new tab): Plays grunge tribute festivals alongside Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam tributes.
The score is our best guess from the venue, the band and the listing. Crowds, space and rules can change, so ask the venue if dancing matters to you. How the score works.
